Community Forum
What is the Didcot Community Forum?
The Didcot Community Forum is a made up of a wide range of community organisations, parish councils, South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) and Vale of White Horse District Council. These organisations share a joint aim to make Didcot a more vibrant and exciting place to live, work and visit. To achieve this, the Forum meets quarterly to discuss proposals and plans for Didcot. The Forum feeds in the views of the community to ensure that they are involved in decision making processes for the benefit of Didcot.
There are also a number of smaller groups that support the forum, such as the communications group and a number of specific project groups. A community representative sits on each of the project groups to ensure their views are represented. The structure of the Forum will evolve as the group develops, to ensure maximum community input.
Didcot Community Forum newsletter
The Didcot Community Forum issues a quarterly newsletter to update Forum members and the wider community on progress with plans, projects and developments in Didcot.
